Hey Prairie Families! 🌾

It’s that time again… I’m giving you a little heads-up about my Summer 2027 availability. ☀️

I won’t be taking on any birth clients with due dates between June 15th and September 20th, 2027.

After learning the hard way that trying to balance being on-call while my girls are home all summer doesn’t leave much room for actually being present with them, I’m choosing to protect this little pocket of family time again. 🧡

This work means so much to me, and honestly, I want to keep doing it for a long, long time. Taking intentional time off is part of how I make that possible.

Now… if you’re reading this thinking, “But Kristy, I really want YOU!” 😂 Then yes, we may need to have a little chat about the birds, the bees & your family planning calendar. 😉

Basically, if you’re hoping for a Summer 2027 baby and having me as your doula is important to you, the conception window is something we’ll want to be mindful of. I’ve included the dates in the carousel so you can see exactly what I mean.

BUT. And this part matters.

I know that not everyone gets to choose when they conceive. I would never want you to put your family plans on hold because of my availability. ❤️

So please do what’s right for your family. And if your due date lands during my summer off-call window, I’ll happily help connect you with some wonderful doulas who can support you.

Just wanted to give you the heads-up well before you need it. 🧡
